Integrating Earth science, AI and high-performance computing for geohazard and georesource decision support

About

EARTH-AID stands for “Agentic AI for Trustworthy Impact Simulations Integrating Digital Twins and Data Lakes for Geohazards and Georesources within Destination Earth.”

The project develops GEODE, a next-generation, AI-driven decision support system for geohazards and georesources within the Destination Earth ecosystem.

By integrating Earth science, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and social science, EARTH-AID advances the state of the art in geohazard impact assessment. This interdisciplinary approach enables a shift from reactive to anticipatory geohazard risk management, enhancing preparedness, strengthening resilience, and supporting informed decision-making across Europe's most hazard-exposed regions.
