Kick-off meeting in Lugano

On 28-29 September, the EARTH-AID project community will come together for its first meeting. Hosted in Lugano (Switzerland), the kick-off meeting will bring together around 80 participants from partner organisations across Europe to develop a shared understanding of the project's goals and planned activities for the project's 36-month journey.

Over the course of two days, participants will listen to interesting presentations on topics such as AI for rapid emergency response and disaster risk reduction, as well as the project's ethical and technical dimensions. Breakout sessions and a poster fair will complement the programme, creating valuable opportunities for scientific exchange, collaboration and networking.
